Lower Secondary SCHOOL
A 6-day, 35-hour school week was established at the beginning of the 2005/2006 school year and has proved ideal for lower secondary students. Morning lessons are from Monday to Saturday, commencing at 8:30am and ending at 13:30pm; afternoon lessons on Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:30 to 4:30pm.
Music class which was established during the 2004/2006 school year, provides the pupils who apply and pass the selection process, the opportunity of attending individual and group afternoon lessons from Monday to Friday. Music instruments include the guitar, the violin, the piano and the drums. Music class group activities are focused on the school orchestra.
A one-hour lunch break is provided on Wednesdays and Fridays and a hot lunch is served in the dining hall.
Afternoon lessons focus on the optional learning activities aimed at meeting the demands and interests of families, as well as enhancing pupil skills and performance.
