WHY A WEBSITE FOR THE SCHOOL


A web site is a tool that contributes strongly to raise the level of the internal communication and, above all, external of the school institutions.
Today, more than ever, within a complex organization, such as a school, it is necessary to communicate, if you want a working organized process.
Nevertheless communication must not be a one way passage of information but , on the contrary, an exchange, a sharing of information.
Therefore, I believe that it might be a means of transformation, just as it happens for the communication of the teaching proposal, in which a pupil’s change is expected, through the achievement of the fixed aims.
Naturally that can be valid for the other interlocutor subjects not belonging to the school world, who , anyway, fully interact with it for the efficiency of its formative action: they are the pupil’s parents and all the other institutional ( and not) subjects who operates in the local territory.
In that case, communication, in addition to being information, assumes a greater meaning, more relevant, becomes a “ negotiation”, that is a communication carried out to reach a common aim.
That is one of the commitments that the “ Istituto Comprensivo” of which I am the Headmaster, tries to accomplish , that is the dialogue with the external world and the interaction with it in the prospect of an “educational community” , subject of transformation on the territory and of the territory.
